Goji Man’s Nut Milk Recipes

Almond Nut Milk

Almond nut milk is super healthy and gets you away from mainstream dairy products. The following recipe will provide you with over 20% protein as well as lots of vitamin E and other essential nutrients.

You Need:

  • 2 cups of almonds soaked in water over night (this will help remove enzyme inhibitors and allow your body to absorb more of the nutrients).
  • 4 cups of water (ideally spring water).
  • 3 large dates or 3 tbsp of organic raw honey (your choice – both work well).
  • Optional – 1 tsp of organic vanilla extract.

How To Make:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until sufficiently mixed together.
  • Pour through a nut milk bag (or something suitably similar) and squeeze out as much liquid as you can from the pulp.
  • Place the nut milk in the refrigerator and refrigerate for up to 4 days. Alternatively, you can place the milk in a freezer and it will keep for months.

Brazil Nut Milk

While Brazil Nuts provide lots of essential nutrients, their biggest nutritional punch comes in the form of selenium. Brazil nuts actually provide over 2000 times more selenium than any other nut. Any why is selenium so beneficial? It’s because it’s a very potent antioxidant that helps remove free radicals from the body (the chemicals that cause cancer). Selenium will also keep you looking young as well as helping to maintain a healthy immune system.

You Need:

  • 2 cups of Brazil Nuts soaked overnight in water (again to remove the enzyme inhibitors).
  • 4 cups of water (ideally spring water).
  • 3 tbsp of raw organic honey.
  • One and half tspn of coconut butter.
  • 2 vanilla pods.

How To Make:

  • Place all ingredients inand blend until sufficiently mixed together.
  • Pour through a nut milk bag (or something suitably similar) and squeeze out as much liquid as you can from the pulp.
  • Place the nut milk and refrigerate up to 4 days. Alternatively, you can place in a freezer and it will keep for months.
